Walk To School Challenge: April 24
SHAKE IT FOR THE EARTH!
Walk, run, scoot, bike, board or roll…
Move your body part of or all the way to school and win the next class challenge!
On Wednesday, April 24th, parent volunteers will be handing out tokens for students who walk, run, scoot, bike or roll to school. Remember your helmets.
Bring a recyclable plastic or glass container and get an EXTRA TOKEN towards the class prize!
WALKING SCHOOL BUS 2012/13
Hello families,
I wanted to let you know that we are "putting the walking school bus into the shop for repairs and a rest".
It will be back in action for the new school year in September. I would love to have some experts back on hand to help the new families get familiar with the route.
For the rest of this year, expect to see the Taylors either still walking in from Eldon, or maybe coming in along Lorraine, or at least hanging out in the playground.
Thank you to our frequent participants in this little program. You have done a lot to spread the word about walking and keeping our streets safe for student travellers.
